Dr. Christina Knapp was born and raised in Reno, NV. She continued on to study at the University of Nevada, Reno where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with minors in Business Administration and Biochemistry. She then went on to study dentistry at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. While at UNLV, she was a member of the American Student Dental Association, Sgt. Ferrin Memorial Veterans Clinic, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry Las Vegas Maxicourse. She is passionate about restoring smiles and function of teeth, as well as revitalizing people’s health by helping understand the connection between oral health systemically with the body. She has earned her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and is a member of the Northern Nevada Chapter of the Seattle Study Club, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Nevada Dental Association, American Academy of Clear Aligners, and Northern Nevada Dental Society. She has been an active participant in both Reingage Part 1 and Part 2 courses with Dr. David Galler. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys being married to her fun husband Sean who works as a mechanical engineer. The two of them love to travel, spend time at Lake Tahoe, mountain bike, go hiking with their dogs, and hang out with friends and family. She is excited and honored to be one of the first 150 recipients of the Done in One Award from the American Academy of Clear Aligners and loves helping patients achieve the smile they have always wanted.
