AGREEMENT BETWEEN USER AND American Academy of Clear Aligners
The American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA) Web Site is comprised of various Web pages operated by AACA. Your use of the AACA Web Site constitutes your agreement to all such terms, conditions, and notices.
The AACA Web Site is offered to you conditioned on your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein.
All sales are final. There are no refunds or cancelations for any reason.
The American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA) may revise and update these Terms and Conditions at any time by revising this policy on this Website. Your continued usage of www.aacaligners.com will mean you accept those changes.
All materials posted, with the exception of materials posted on the discussion forums, are of a proprietary nature and subject to copyrights owned by the American Association of Clear Aligners. Find a Dentist Disclaimer
The directory of dentists provided on AACA is not a complete list of dentists licensed to practice in United States of America or in a particular locale. This is a directory only of those dentists who have purchased membership in AACA.
By signing up you are expressly verifying that you are a licensed dentist in good standing and able to practice dentistry in the state listed for your practice. You are certified that there are no impending judgments or suspensions on license prohibiting you from practicing.
Information was obtained by the AACA from sources believed to be reliable. However, because of the possibility of human and/or mechanical error, the AACA does not guarantee the accuracy, adequacy or completeness of any dentist information, and is not responsible for any errors or omissions, or for the results obtained from the use of such information. Listing of a dentist on the directory on this Website in no way implies that the AACA endorses the services of or treatment by any dentist or their staff.
USE OF COMMUNICATION SERVICES
The AACA Web Site may contain bulletin board services, chat areas, news groups, forums, communities, personal web pages, calendars, and/or other message or communication facilities designed to enable you to communicate with the public at large or with a group (collectively, "Communication Services"), you agree to use the Communication Services only to post, send and receive messages and material that are proper and related to the particular Communication Service. AACA has no obligation to monitor the Communication Services. However, AACA reserves the right to review materials posted to a Communication Service and to remove any materials in its sole discretion. AACA reserves the right to terminate your access to any or all of the Communication Services at any time without notice for any reason whatsoever.
AACA reserves the right at all times to disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, or to edit, refuse to post or to remove any information or materials, in whole or in part, in AACA's sole discretion.
Always use caution when giving out any personally identifying information about yourself or your children in any Communication Service. AACA does not control or endorse the content, messages or information found in any Communication Service and, therefore, AACA specifically disclaims any liability with regard to the Communication Services and any actions resulting from your participation in any Communication Service. Managers and hosts are not authorized AACA spokespersons, and their views do not necessarily reflect those of AACA.
EMAIL AND SOLICITATIONS
By joining the AACA as a member, you are agreeing to allow emails from the AACA to be sent to your email address. There is no limit on the number of emails being sent by the AACA or its affiliates. One may choose at any time to unsubscribe from any and all email lists without penalty or loss of membership to AACA.
This site makes electronic mailing lists available to its members. You should be aware that any information you disclose on any electronic mailing list or other open forum hosted by the AACA may be collected by others and used, without authorization by AACA, to send you unsolicited non-AACA information, or for other purposes. Although AACA tries to protect your personal information when using these public forums, it cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.
The AACA reserves the right to also send copies of Journal and other mailings to address provided to AACA for services that are related to or unrelated to AACA. AACA reserves the right to sell mailing lists to third party vendors without the expressed written consent of its members. Members may be removed from any mailing lists at anytime by simply notifying AACA via email aacaligners@gmail.com and getting confirmation email back.
REFUND POLICY
AACA Memberships
No refund on AACA memberships will be issued unless there has been a duplicate payment, and then there will be a full refund the duplicated amount
AACA Event Registrations
Refund requests made before 90 days of the registered AOD event the payment will be returned in full for that event. No refund requests on AACA events will issued within the 90 days prior of the registered event. If there has been a duplicate payment, and then there will be a full refund of the duplicated amount.
AACA Items that are sold on the AACA Website other than Event Registrations
NO RETURNS after 14 days.
1. Customer may return defective product for a refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping and handling charges.
2. Return shipping to AACA is at customer's expense.
3. AACA will charge a 20% restocking fee for all non-defective returns.
4. NO returns of any type will be accepted without a RMA number.
5. Customer's RMA number(s) must appear clearly on the shipping label on the outside of the return shipment. Customer shall not mark the box itself in any other way.
6. Packages that do not have the RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the box will be refused.
7. To obtain an RMA number, submit your request on-line to aacaligners@gmail.com
8. After 14 days from purchase, AACA will not issue an RMA and will refer Customer to the manufacturer for warranty service, if any.
9. All products for return must be received at AACA within 14 days from the date of RMA number issuance. RMAs expire in 14 days after they are issued and cannot be extended or re-issued.
10. All Returns must be 100% complete, in original and resalable condition, with all original boxes and packing materials, contain all manuals, registration card(s), software, blank warranty cards, cabling and other accessories and documentation if included. AACA reserves the right to refuse a return on any product that does not meet these requirements.
11. Replacement items will be shipped after the defective item is received and inspected by AACA's Returns Department.
12. AACA is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. All authorized returns must include a shipment tracking number.
13. Customer is responsible for shipping charges on all returned items.
14. AACA strongly recommends that Customer fully insure the return shipment in case it is lost or damaged and use a carrier that can provide it with proof of delivery for Customer's protection.
15. AACA reserves the right to refuse a return on any product that does not meet the above requirements.
16. All products sold by AACA should not be used, handled, eaten, or put into their mouth by any children in a manner that might pose harm to themselves or those around them. Caution and common sense should be used with any and all products purchased through AACA
WARRANTY: MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY issues should be directed to the Manufacturer.
After 14 Days: Defective merchandise should be returned for repair to the manufacturer or any authorized service center in Customer's area. Additional manufacturers may be added to this list as manufacturer policies change.
Damaged Shipment
Customer should make sure that the damaged package it is noted on the carrier's delivery record in order for AACA to file a damage claim. Customer shall save the merchandise in the original box and packing it arrived in, notify AACA immediately to arrange for a carrier inspection and pick up of damaged merchandise. If Customer does not notify AACA of damaged goods within the first 3 days of arrival, AACA's regular return policy will override any claim of damage, and will fall under all current manufacturer restrictions.
Accuracy of Shipping Address
You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address during check-out. If you fail to provide an accurate shipping address, we have the right to charge you for any additional shipping and handling fees that we incur. If the Order came back as Undeliverable through Shipping Carrier, we will only refund the Item Price without shipping and handling fees
