DG - 34: 

  • Chief Complaint : “I want straight teeth so I can smile again and I do not want braces”

Examination: 

  • Complete Clinical

  • X-ray

  • Periodontal exam

Evaluation:

  • Class I molar

  • Class III canine relationship

  • Severe upper and lower crowding

  • UR5 in crossbite

  • Full upper lip

  • No airway issues noted

Treatment:

  • Invisalign Comprehensive Treatment

  • First Clincheck 31 aligners

  • Elastic buttons placed on upper 3's. Precision cuts on lower 6's. Class II elastics to retract and extrude maxillary canines

  • Extractions of teeth 5, 12, 22 and 27 at time of delivery

  • Refinement Clincheck to detail final movements. 9 out of 19 aligners used

  • Triangle elastics were used to bring upper canines into position between Clincheck 1 and 2

  • Total treatment time 13 months

  • Acceleration:

    • Munchies 15 min 4/day.

    • Immediate delivery of aligners after extractions
