Kylee Barnett’s passion for dentistry began in the most relatable way: as a young patient with a traumatic root canal, an unfriendly receptionist, and a shockingly large bill. That experience fueled a 20-year (and counting) career dedicated to transforming how patients experience dentistry—and how teams deliver it.
Over the past two decades, Kylee has worked in nearly every dental role: dental assistant, treatment coordinator, office manager, regional manager, and now, a respected speaker and educator. She’s known for helping teams simplify the complex, communicate the “why” behind what they do, and use the tools at their fingertips to empower patients to make informed decisions—because when patients understand, everything else flows more easily.
Her love for Invisalign took root in 2017 after attending Dr. Galler’s team training. She helped transition a bracket-focused office from five Invisalign cases a year to Platinum status within six months and Diamond status within the year. She later helped launch the first-ever GP Invisalign-only practice in British Columbia—built on efficient, momentum-driven systems that prioritize patient experience and clinical results.
Kylee has been an Align Technology speaker for the past two years, presenting on topics such as Invisalign Virtual Care, streamlining workflows, and creating consultations that convert. She also proudly serves as a speaker for the AACA, leads both the LEAD Assistant Program and the Dentalogy Program, and works closely with Dr. Galler to test tools and systems for AACA practices across North America.
Outside of her clinical roles and speaking engagements, Kylee works alongside Dr. Andrea Dernisky at two practices in Port Moody, BC. She’s also a proud mom to Ava, Kade, and Jax, and together with her husband Chace, she spends every spare moment outdoors—camping, snowboarding, and dirt biking.
